Staying true to its name, the Stateel Multipurpose Barbell, with its brass bushings and needle bearings allows for a smooth and medium spin of the collars, suitable especially for bodybuilding and powerlifting movements while the double knurl markings and centre knurling makes it even more ideal for use in powerlifting and weightlifting type movements. With a medium diamond knurl, this also allows for a relatively strong grip of the bar without it tearing up your hands too much.
The Stateel Multipurpose Barbell has a snap ring design which ensures a much more stable and longer lasting built bar compared to a hex bolt design seen on cheaper, low-end barbells.
The Stateel Multipurpose Barbell is also coated in a thin layer of beautiful black E-coat (electrostatic coating) which helps protects the barbell by making it highly resistant to rust and corrosion as compared to a normal chromed barbell .E-coat is a highly environmentally friendly finishing method typically used in the automotive and other commercial/industrial applications which produces little to no Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPS) or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
